Proverbs are the Literature of reason.

A man’s heart deviseth his way but the Lord directh his steps.

What you are is God’s gift to you, what you do with yourself is your gift to God.

What would I find in my own heart if the noise of the world were silenced? Who would I be? Who will I be, when loss or crisis or the depredation of time take away the trappings of success, of self-importance, even personality itself?
