He has made everything appropriate in his time.

Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast.

We were created by God for much more than survival. Life is meant to be full of connection and growth. Where we lack, God fills us. He is the source of everything we need to thrive in this existence. In God’s life we were made alive. His presence in us is what empowers us to love others as he loves us.

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves, for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy god, he it is that doth go with thee: he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Once you were not a people but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard.

It depends not on human will or exertion but on God, who has mercy.

Rather, train yourself in godliness.
