Here’s to health and a wealth of wisdom

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Everything that God does is done with faithfulness as the thread holding it all together. He creates tapestries out of the cords of our Ives. What he does is beautiful and far beyond our understanding. His love is stitched into the fabric of our lives. When we look back, we see that he has been working all along. There is no place that his redemption leaves untouched.

That we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort where with we ourselves are comforted of God.

Work

While reading our bible is certainly beneficial it cannot compare to to the benefits of studying and applying it in our lives. This type of work brings eternal and wisdom that is unparalleled in other forms of work.

Ecclesiastes 12:14
For God will bring every work into judgement, which every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

We may forget God’s blessings and what he has placed before us.

Father, help me celebrate the work you are doing in my life and in the lives of those around me.

To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness though we have rebelled against him.

The world does not know this kind of generous love.

Though I frequently disappoint myself I find time and again that I haven’t disappointed you which is a marvelous mystery. Fill me with the light of love again today.
