…that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable…

Heart opening
Let your heart open – gently, safely, surely, and certainly.
Do not let others decide when or even if you will open your heart, when or if you will embrace love.
Those choices are too big, too important to let others make for you.
Only you can decide when and how.

Live with unsolved problems
Trust that the waiting part of change is necessary.
Trust that your desire for change is the beginning of change.
Trust that each moment you are moving closer to the change you desire.
p. 331 Journey to the heart, Melody Beattie
PSALM 42:7
Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
My savior and my God.
Have hope
Sometimes the light is dim. Sometimes it can only be seen with the eyes of our soul, the eyes of our heart. But it’s also a light that can be clouded and blocked by fear, tenseness, and lack of faith.
… Trust your heart.
pp. 328-329, Journey to the Heart, Melody Beattie
Ease up on yourself
See how much more you accomplish, how much easier life is, how much more you enjoy life when you aren’t forcing yourself.
Forcing can turn into fear – fear that the job won’t get done, fear that the natural way things would evolve won’t be right, fear that you’re not good enough.
p. 321, Journey to the heart, Melody Beattie
Tenderness
The challenge for us is to have soft, tender, open hearts so that when God seeks an encounter with us, we can respond whole heartedly and receive a blessing for our own soul and the souls of many.
Encounters with God, Kenneth Kropf, Beside the Still Waters, vol. 27, iss. 6
You are being led
Now is the time to practice what you know. Trust. Let go. Stay as peaceful as you can. Stay right here in the present moment.
Sharpen your tools – your intuition, your inner voice, your consciousness, and your awareness.
Do the little things, the small actions that appear right, the things that are right before you. …
Then let the journey unfold.
Trust that you are being guided and led.

Seeking the Lord
All that we have endured in this life will then seem as nothing.
